MIHYON AHN
herringbone sage is built on decades of progressive luxury men’s fashion experience. Founder Mihyon Ahn brings a diverse background to the boutique, having held a number of roles within the fashion industry—from sales and management to buying and merchandising. Her expertise, creativity, and eye for style shape the heart of herringbone sage.
Over her 15+ year tenure at Butch Blum (a privately owned luxury European clothing boutique), Mihyon rose through the ranks. She began as a Sales Associate, progressed to Accessories Specialist; Assistant Buyer, and ultimately became a Senior Sales Associate; Senior Buyer for the company.
Her domestic and international buying trips became a pivotal part of not only learning insights into emerging trends in the fashion industry but also developing a deeper understanding of the clientele she aims to serve.
The retail experience known as herringbone sage truly brings Mihyon’s vision to life. It combines all of her passions: fashion, style, and art. With every brand and collection she curates, she creates a space that reflects her commitment to elevated and approachable men’s fashion—balancing style with refinement.
In her free time, Mihyon enjoys interior decorating and staging homes for sale. She is also a passionate oil painter and has been commissioned to create and sell her artwork. The presence of family is woven into the foundation of herringbone sage, as Mihyon has built it alongside her husband, Jeff Van Lith. His support and shared values have helped shape the boutique into a space defined by craftsmanship, care, and authentic connection.
